Then the use one of those foam backed bars, that are covered with velvet and clean before each play. I use coarser ones for 78's and finer ones for microgroove. Some companies advertise carbon brushes. |
Dirty records can be cleaned with warm water and just a drop of cleaner (different people use different things) then dried. Always clean in the direction of the grooves.
